The hot water heater is broken, but people don't actually use hot water much here. Given that it's always in the 80's, the water in the pipes underground is basically room temperature. It warms up during the day as the sun heats the ground. Morning showers are a little cool getting in, but feel fine once you're wet. Afternoon showers feel great after working out in the sun.
