At the station

Since we'd finished the tower painting project yesterday, today I showed up to work at the studio. Here's a shot of all of us at the prayer meeting that began the morning:

This is many more people than normal for their prayer meetings. Along with me, there are 2 short-term missionary couples here -- Bob and Bo for 2 weeks, I believe, and Dave and Patti for 3 weeks. (We were surprised to find out that we are all leaving on the same flight next Saturday.) Bob and Dave are electrical gurus who are installing some new program software as well as doing some hardware work. Their wives Bo and Patti are working on converting the station's digital audio library, but due to technical difficulties, all their work was lost and they've re-started their work.

I started work on mounting a magnetic door lock on a wing of the station that's being rented to the Pelican School, a primary school that teaches in Dutch and English. They wanted to secure the door to prevent intruders, but allow the door to open with a push-button from the inside.
