The International Bible Church is meeting in the local high school. They are raising funds for building a church, which they hope to start building in a year or so. This is the only English-speaking church on the island.

The windows are completely open-air, and give a nice cross-flow breeze across the auditorium. It's good that they've met here, because they are making sure to have a similar cross-flow in the new church. It's nice when the wind is blowing, but hot when it's not. Apparently Sept.-Oct. can be miserable because the winds quit.

During the service.

The pastor.

Sunday School after the service. We are watching a video series that's meant for people who can't attend seminary -- basically a seminary on VHS tapes. It's from the late '70's or early '80's, so the people are dressed like Lawrence Welk, but the speaker Dick Woodward is really good. These 2 weeks I've attended the topic has been on the different kinds of psalms.
