O.K., I didn't want to post more car pictures, but I saw these two cars and had to post them for Rick. I used to own a 1988 Ford Festiva, which I had known was designed by Mazda, built by Kia, and sold as the Ford Festiva with the Ford blue oval on it in North America. Well, here on Bonaire I came across the exact same car with 2 different badges on them, and they were parked right next to each other. Apparently the Ford Festiva was also sold as the Mazda 121 and the Kia Pride.

Any SHO-Gun (a Festiva with a mid mounted Taurus SHO V6) sightings on the island Dean?
ReplyDeleteI had in mind our conversation of Jay Leno's SHO-gun when I posted this. No sign of one here, though. Wouldn't make much sense here where the speed limit is 60kph (37.5mph). However, there are a few fast cars and motorcycles here, because people just like burning rubber, even if it's only up to 60kph-ish. There are some hot bikes here that people race on one long straight stretch of road.
